Keep in mind
there is a fairly
good size advertising space on
each profile page. Each
profile has an advertising value
of $350-$500 a year easily!
But it is FREE
to YOU as well.
2Q: You speak of an
advertising space at no extra
cost. Can you
explain what and where that is?
2A:
Most certainly can. When
you search for your state and
city, or military base, you will
see your listings come up in the
search results (provided you
signed up for one). In the
search results summary, there is
a lite blue link titled
"Profile". Click on that
word.
It will; take
you to the profile page for that
listing. This is where
Veterans will find your contact
information, it shows you
websites, etc. Well down
at the bottom of the page is a
white box with a black border.
That box has a fixed width but
it has an expanding height that
will push the length of the ad
down as you ad more content.
This box is the Advertising
page..
Here is an example of what an ad
could look like. Click
Here.
If you
need help putting an ad together
and have it inserted into the ad
space, we can do that for you if
you like, for an added charge of
$50. Included in this charge is
one round of changes or
correction. After the
first change or correction, you
will be billed an additional $25
on a prorated half hour time
minimum basis.
Send a fax
(425-645-5373)(berylgosney@aol.com)
your logos, photos, artwork,
etc. and we will see what we can
do for you..
3Q: What is a Featured
Agent Position and how do I get
one if they are already taken?
3A: The Featured
Agent position is the top 3
positions on the search results
for a city or military base.
These are SOLD on a first come
first serve basis. They
usually are the very first to go,
for a city or military base.
All listings have a term of 1
year. The incumbent agent
for that position has the right
to renew. If they waive
that right, a banner stating
"position available" will be
posted, at which time it is
available to the first person
who elects to acquire it.
There are no waiting lists.
We suggest if a city or base is
taken, to consider another city
or base you serve that is
currently available.
4Q:
How do I select a Featured Agent
Position?
4A:
On the order form, once you
select a city or military base,
there is a box to the right of
the selected city or military
base. Matter of fact there
is an entire column of boxes to
the right of the area where
cities and bases appear.
When you check a box next to a
city or military base, you are telling the
program you want to be a
"Featured Agent" for that
city or military base.
There are (3) "featured
agent" positions for each
city
and (3) "featured agent" positions
for each military base.
If one of those positions are
available and you checked the
block for that selection, then
you will accepted as a
"featured agent". If
the position is no longer
available, you will get a
message stating it has been
taken and to consider choosing
another city or military base.
5Q: I already signed up
but want to add a city or two
and perhaps another base?
And maybe even select a
"Featured Agent " position.
What do I do to achieve that?
5A:
Just go to the links at the top
of the site page, chose the
edit/upgrade link. You
will be asked whether you want
to edit or upgrade. Select
which you wish to do, and once
you make your choice, the
appropriate screen will appear
and should be self explanatory
from there.
6Q: What marketing
suggestions do you recommend to
get Veterans to start coming to
the site?
6A: Locally, there are
3-4 Free approaches that will
guarantee your local veterans to
find you? And there are
some ideas that have worked well over
the past 15 years, where you can market
out of state in the communities
where sister bases of your own
local base may be located.
For example, NAS Ocean
aviation personnel often
transfer to Jacksonville FL, NS
Norfolk, NAS Coronado, Naval
Base (NBase) San
Diego, NAS Whidbey Island and
vice versa. By advertising
in these other locations, you
can make it known you are the
area VA specialist and they will
want to use your services when
they transfer. Try
Craigslist. Inter service
transfers, Hill AFB to McChord AFB,
Fort Benning to Fort Lewis, Sub
Base Kings BAY GA to Sub Base
Bangor WA, or
the other way around. You
get the idea.
But no matter what you do,
advertise this website. If
all VA specialist would begin
using this site, so will VETS and
we all will have more business
than we can handle. That
is why we made the basic
listings on site Free. We
know if we populate the site,
the Vets will come and you will
get business. It's that
simple!

7Q:
I filled out the form to signup
and pushed "SUBMIT" and a notice
came up and said to go to my
email to activate the site.
I went there and dont see any
email. Now what do I do?
7A:
Email accounts sometime will not
accept an email if its is now
already registered in your email
address book. It may behoiove you to go to your
address book and enter our email
address:
info@veteransrealestate-online.com
A lot of
times, because of SPAM, email
accounts will send "new" email
addresses to a SPAM filter for
you to review before it will
post in your main email area.
Consider that always before
assuming we didn't send it to
you.
If you
don't find it in your SPAM
filter, then send us an email at
info@veteransrealestate-online.com
with your full name and email
address and we will activate
your account for you and then
email you what to do next.
Please allow up to 24 hours for
a response.
8Q:
I signed up and got a notice I
had a $8.75 charge, I thought
this was
FREE?
8A: If you go to the "About
Us" page link, or the Signup
page link, we try to explain, in
great detail, about our FREE
promotion, and, we explain the
$8.75 charge per order.
Perhaps in
your enthusiasm in signing up,
you rushed right to the form and
passed right over the text
content that explained the
promotion. That is
understood, as have done that
many times our self, when
ordering something. And we
have a lot of clients not
reading the text before filling
out the form as well.
You see
the $8.75 is the admin/setup fee
to process your order, pay the
service charge that PayPal
requires for processing your
order, and to defray the
programming costs to build and
maintain the web site....all with
only $8.75. In exchange
you get an $80 in value
discounts, plus you get an
advertising space, on your
profile page, that most websites
would have charged you $50-$75 a
month for....Its FREE to you, in
addition to your listing!
Ask
yourself this? Is
$8.75 too much to expect,
especially if it provides the
agent a years advertising
exposure to a targeted Military
audience, who could become their
clients, so the agent could
assist them in buying or
selling them a home?
Matter of
fact, most people would sign
have said, it
is worth the regular price of
$80 and more, for the 20 basic cities and base
listings that we normally
charge. We hope you agree.
Let us know if not. We
value your opinion and certainly
welcome it!
9Q:
I can't get the images (photo or
company logo) to load.
What do I need to do?
9A:
Photos have a size limit of
500KB and must be either a .jpg,
.gif, or .png format.
If you need to change format or
reduce the size of the photo to
comply, we provide a link next
to the field that recommends you
go to
www.picasa.google.com, where
you can resize your images, or
change formats with little or no
effort. You then can
upload your revised photo(s) to the
Veterans web site.
10Q:
You say the profile page
contains a place for display
Advertising?
10A: Yes that is
correct. If you look
at the samples below, you will
see that the last field on the
signup form is called
"Comments". This is where
you can insert HTML coding to
provide you a display ad.
Click on
these samples, to see how the
space could be used if you knew
how to program in HTML or could
get someone to do it for you:

If you would
like to send us an idea of what
your ad would look like,
we can
quote you a price to code an ad
for you as well. It would
cost anywhere from $50-$75
for HTML coding only.
No flash can be used nor scripts
as they would interfere with the
websites operation. We
can assure you it will really
jazz up your profile page and
get the site visitors attention.

and request a quote to program
it.
